Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by delivering fast, reliable, and affordable internet to the neighborhoods we serve. About Milink

Since 2019, Milan Department of Public Utilities (MPU) has partnered with Jackson Energy Authority to provide high-speed fiber internet to approximately 2,500 potential customers in the Milan area. During this time, MPU steadily expanded its customer base and built a strong rapport with the community, delivering fast and reliable fiber-to-the-home internet service.

In 2024, recognizing the growing demand for broadband connectivity, the Milan Public Utilities Authority management team identified the need to expand its fiber network to reach every customer served by MPUA electric service. With this vision, MPUA launched MiLink — a rebranding initiative that reflects both who we are today and the future of our broadband service and its valued customers.

SERVICE AREAS

As a broadband provider rooted in our local utility, we deliver high-speed internet to the City of Milan and parts of Gibson, Carroll, and Madison counties. Our broadband services grew from our foundation as an electric utility, where we continue to purchase power from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and distribute it throughout the same service area.
